Steel Heritage Ride

The 11th Annual Twice Baked Century will feature a ride for vintage bicycles.

 

The new Velostoric Steel Heritage Ride will celebrate the beauty and history of classic bicycles. Bikes from all eras are welcome. Do you have a 19th century wheel? A prewar racer? Classic track iron? Vintage tour replica? A more modern, retro-inspired custom? Everyone would love to see it!

 

First and foremost, this is a (laid back, non-competitive) bike ride. We have a wide range of loops from 14 to 100 miles. Mainly pretty, lightly trafficked country roads that you'll love. Vintage bike riders will roll out as a group at 8:00 am.

In addition to the rides, there will be a special, covered display area to show off the vintage steeds when you come back.

Gravel Option

You can also choose a 26 mile loop incorporating a mix of 69% paved and 31% unpaved roads. That's a little over 8 miles of dirt and rocks for a taste of the past. Unpaved sections are fairly smooth and fast.

Registration

The Vintage
Showcase

After completing the ride, you're invited to roll your vintage machine to the classic bike display area. Relax with a post-ride meal and hang out with fellow enthusiasts.

If you'd like to take part in the display, please bring along a simple stand to support your bicycle.

​

​

A wash area will be available if your bike requires a quick clean.
